Image Transfer: Workshop with Suzette Smart

Suzette will take you through the steps to transfer vintage imagery onto fabric and ways for creating small collages with this technique.

You will be shown ideas for developing your pieces of work further with the addition of fabric, lace and hand stitching. It’s a perfect technique for making textile books, and Suzette will show you how to turn your work into a concertina fabric book.

Suzette will have a selection of work and textile book samples to share for inspiration.

There will be an assortment of vintage images to cut up for image transfer. Sheets of photocopied images for transfer will be available at £4 each.  There will be extra fabrics for collage for everyone to use too.
