In Stitches: Talk by Linda Miller

We are very pleased to welcome back Linda Miller, whose speciality is her intensively machine-stitched pictures.  Colourful and naive, her narrative embroideries often feature people and animals set in the outdoors with their own stories.

Linda’s talk and slideshow covers all aspects of her work – incorporating the joys of being a practising textile artist, gathering ideas, working with shops and galleries, gaining private and public commissions, and working towards shows and exhibitions.

Linda will bring samples of her work and exhibition pieces.  Members who have met Linda before know that she is a very entertaining speaker.
