Warwickshire Stitchers’ Festive Jolly

Saturday 4th December was a ‘red letter’ day for us in the sense that it was the first time members had met in person since we became an independent group.

Everyone agreed that we had had a really good day, in spite of restrictions still in place (we brought our own food and drink, wore masks when moving around and went out for a bracing walk around the block before the afternoon session – thankfully it was a sunny, dry, if pretty chilly day!)

The competition to make a Father Christmas produced some lovely pieces:

Also on display were Christmas-themed pieces members had made previously:

… and Christmas trees in progress:

We’re hoping to see more of these in due course.

Thank you to everyone who came and made this a really great end to our year!
