… Since this post first appeared, Shay has shared photos of the coasters she has completed with woven strips started at Members’ Day. What a great use of the technique!

I had been thinking of making some new coasters.
Sue showed some weaving, which I thought would make good coasters. I wove some strips, then machined them together; cut them into four to make them double-sided and edged the blue set with bias binding.
The creamy set was zig zagged around the edge. I did put some batting in between the two layers on all coasters,
