Talk: Working in Series, by Kate Findlay

Kate visited us in January 2023, when she showed us how to make the stunning e-textile lanterns that became a feature of our Compton Verney exhibition.
Working in Series is a talk encompassing Kate’s different styles of work over the last 15 years. It includes highlights from the Hadron Collider series, which culminated in a number of large art quilts, the Henley series, some of her licensed work and her landscape and animals series. In addition to her slides, Kate includes short videos as well as many illustrations. She will also bring examples of her work and a small selection of cards, her books and other items for sale. |
